I’m a big fan of the Panasonic Lumix range of cameras, I own three myself. The Panasonic Lumix LX100, Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 and the Panasonic Lumix GX8.

Panasonics iA mode will help you capture most subjects without you having to think about camera settings. Ensuring, good quality pictures under most conditions. I often use the iA mode on my camera when wondering around and taking shots generally. However, If I want or feel the need to be more creative I will switch to other camera modes.

This camera can be used as a point and shoot camera using the iA mode or for the photo enthusiast you can take advantage of the camera’s more advanced features.

In terms of price, it may not be one of the cheaper compact travel cameras but it will be one of the best. And if I was in the market for a all round compact and travel camera, then this would be my choice.

It is compact enough to put in your pocket. Perfect for all destinations and most subjects whether your shooting people, cities or enjoying beautiful nature, this camera will provide you with excellent quality images.
