Sometimes, we are not presented with the ideal lighting conditions or time of day when taking photos. Take a look at the photo below. This is a shot of the maison du patrimoine Quimper
The day was overcast and the lighting flat. However, it was still worth a shot as I had in mind to rework this image once back home. While shooting this image, I had imagined pools of sunlight and a colourful garden.
The final reworked image was processed using a combination of On1 Photo RAW’s Effects mode and blending modes.
As you can see, the image has been brought to life using a combination effects and local masking.
