This was basically a record shot of Caen Memorial Gardens. As a colour shot, this just was not working for me and I felt that there was more to this shot.
I decided that the shot would work better in black and white and cropped.
On1 Photo RAW 2018 comes with a number of presets. I tend not to use the presets but on this occasion I saw one thar happened to fit my idea of what I wanted to see as a final image.
Opening the presets allows you to quickly gauge how an effect will look. Having applied the preset, I just tweaked the black, white points and adjusted the shadows to get the look I wanted.
