Below is a ‘out of the camera‘ shot of our cat (Pistache) in the garden.

Having taken the photo I jumped into On1 Photo RAW 2018 to do some edits. I don’t like to over process my photos and the basic workflow I followed is below. I did just want to retouch some of her blemishes though and used the On1 perfect brush tool to do this.

Having checked my histogram, I decided not to do any RAW edits and focused on using On1’s Effects to improve my shot of Pistache.
I basically added some dynamic contrast to the photo, boosted the colour, sharpened her eyes, applied a vignette to draw viewers to her eyes and cropped the photo to a square format.
