Took a quick drive into town last night, it was cold, but the sky in the early evening and the Christmas lights provided some photo opportunities.
Below is my original out of the camera RAW file. The image was shot on a Lumix FZ1000.

I did not do too many tweaks to the RAW file, opened the shadows slightly, added a small amount of contrast, and some haze reduction to bring out the clouds.
Once I had adjusted the RAW file, I needed to deal with the crane in the background. On1 Photo RAW provides a number of tools for dealing with unwanted objects. For the crane I used the Perfect Eraser. Check out the On1 video below.

On1 Photo RAW has a number of modules to help process your images. The image above was opened in the module called ‘Effects’ and the following effects applied.
Dynamic contrast was used to bring out a little more detail, the colour enhancer used to add a more ambience and colour to the image, sharpening was applied for viewing on a screen and a vignette added to lead the eye into the photo. Finally I used the tone enhancer to even out the histogram a little more.
