My reading list and role as a Business Architect
As a business architect I have played a key role in developing the thinking around enterprise architecture and its implementation as a discipline within an organisation.
I have helped implement repeatable approaches to enterprise architecture, developed the use of frameworks and driven the implementation of processes, repositories, tools and methods in support of enterprise architecture.
As my interest and passion grew in the subject of enterprise architecture I collected a number of reference books. These books are listed below:
Enterprise Architecture – the Eight Fundamental Factors: A practical guide to the eight fundamental factors that are common to all EA approaches and frameworks.
Building an Enterprise Architecture Practice: Tools, Tips, Best Practices, Ready-to-Use Insights (The Enterprise Series)
The practice of enterprise architecture: experiences, techniques, and best practices
ArchiMate: from theory to practice
Delivering enterprise architecture with TOGAF and Archimate
TOGAF® Version 9.1 (TOGAF Series)
I have enjoyed reading these books and believe that they are a valuable source of reference for anyone interested in the subject of enterprise architecture.
